Key Takeaways
- The “Parqal” Spine In 2026, the Parqal Mall is your secret weapon. It is a 5-block-long, climate-controlled “Linear Park” that connects Macapagal Blvd to Diokno Blvd.
- Use it to walk from the Aseana offices to the malls without being exposed to the sun or rain.
- The “Globe” Logic The giant MOA Globe is the transit center. All “yellow” jeepneys and the EDSA Carousel terminate here.
- LRT-1 Extension (New for 2026) Use the Redemptorist-Aseana Station for direct rail access to the Aseana district, bypassing the heavy traffic of Roxas Blvd.
- Major change as of November 16, 2024. The LRT-1 Cavite Extension Phase 1 is now operational. Redemptorist–Aseana Station sits at Roxas Blvd corner Bradco Avenue — directly inside the Bay Area.
- This is the closest train station to SM MOA, Aseana City, Parqal Mall, and DFA Aseana. It replaces Baclaran as the southern entry point for anyone coming from Manila by train.
- If you are coming from anywhere along LRT-1 (Quiapo, Ermita, Malate, Makati EDSA, Monumento), you can now ride directly to Aseana Station without transferring to a jeepney at Baclaran.
- The SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Transit Hub (also known as MOA Bus Terminal or SM Mall of Asia Terminal) is a major pick-up/drop-off point in Pasay City, Metro Manila.
- It handles modern jeepneys, UV Express vans, local/city buses, EDSA Carousel stops (curbside at MOA Globe or nearby), and some P2P services.
- It’s located near the mall’s north side/seaside area, with additional loading zones for provincial-style or longer routes.
Bay City Guide – MOA Aseana walking maps and transfer logic
Primary Anchors: SM Mall of Asia (North), Ayala Malls Manila Bay (South), and Parqal (The Connector).
Strategic Navigation Tips
- The Aseana Linear Walk – The Path: LRT-1 Redemptorist-Aseana → Parqal Mall → Ayala Malls Manila Bay →MOA.
Operational Note: This is the most modern walking route in the city. Parqal acts as a shaded tunnel that makes the “massive” distance feel much shorter. - Commuter Survival Tip: “The Sunset Surge” → From 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, the MOA Globe transit area becomes a bottleneck. If you can’t get a ride, walk through Parqal to the Aseana LRT Station. It’s a 15-minute walk, but it guarantees you avoid the 1-hour wait for a bus at the mall.
Local Mode Logic – The “Loopers”
- Yellow Jeepneys (MOA Loop): They circle the entire mall complex. Fare is usually minimum.
- Aseana City Shuttles: Look for the small white/blue buses that specifically serve the office buildings in the Aseana district.
The Exit Strategy
- To the North (QC/Manila): Head to the EDSA Carousel Stop located at the MOA Globe. It is 24/7.
- To the South (Cavite/Alabang): Take a jeepney to PITX (Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange). It is only a 10-minute ride from MOA.
- To Makati: Take the yellow jeepney to MRT-3 Taft Avenue Station, then take the train to Ayala.

What to Know Before you Go
- The Bay Area has two zones: MOA complex (malls, arena, parking) and Aseana City (offices, DFA, Parqal, residential). They are adjacent but not the same address. Know which zone you are heading to before boarding.
- Redemptorist–Aseana Station is at Roxas Blvd corner Bradco Avenue — it is closer to Aseana City and DFA than to the main MOA mall entrance. Walking from the station to the MOA Arena or the SM main mall entrance takes approximately 12–15 minutes. A short jeepney or multicab ride from the station is available.
- The EDSA Carousel MOA Busway Station only opened northbound service in October 2025. Before that, northbound commuters had to go to PITX first. If you are reading an older guide, this information has changed.
- A beep card is required for both LRT-1 and the EDSA Carousel bus. Load up before leaving. You can buy and load beep cards at any LRT-1 station ticket booth.
- Concert and event nights at MOA Arena create extreme congestion at all exit points — jeepney queues, ride-share surge pricing, and Carousel bus crowds all peak simultaneously. If attending an event, stay 30–45 minutes after it ends before attempting to commute. The crowd thins significantly.
- The Bay City area (Solaire, City of Dreams, Okada) has no direct jeepney access inside. Shuttle buses from Solaire and City of Dreams connect to the Parañaque area and Baclaran. These are private shuttles — ask at the property. Grab and taxi are the practical fallback.
