The LRT 1 now spans 25 stations, connecting Quezon City(Fernando Poe Jr. formerly Roosevelt) in the North to Parañaque (Dr. Santos formerly Sucat) in the South.

LRT 1 Important Last-Mile Connections

  1. PITX Station: This is now the most critical transfer point for those heading further south to Cavite (Bacoor, Imus, Dasmariñas) or Batangas. The station connects directly to the massive PITX terminal building.
  2. LRT 1 Gil Puyat Station: The “Bus Central” for South Luzon. Buses to Laguna (Sta. Rosa/Calamba) and Batangas (Lipa/Lemery) are located just steps from the station.
  3. LRT 1 Doroteo Jose / Recto: Use the covered walkway to transfer to LRT-2 if you are heading east towards University Belt (FEU, UE), Cubao, or Antipolo.
  4. Airport Access: While MIA Road is the closest station to the airport, it is not “inside” the terminal. You will need to take a dedicated shuttle or a short taxi/Grab ride to reach NAIA Terminals 1 and 2. For Terminal 3, the EDSA Station to a Newport Jeep/Bus is often better.
